1. Why was Rajinikanth foundation started?

The Rajinikanth foundation was started by the Superstar of Indian Cinema Padma Vibhushan Rajinikanth to use education of the poor and the downtrodden as a tool to create a society built on Empathetic Governance, Progressive Thinking, Leadership Excellence, Scientific Temper, Democratized Education and Sustainable Economic System

2. Are the operations of the foundation limited to Tamil Nadu?

Though we have a Global vision, we want to limit our initial initiatives to Tamil Nādu. Superstar always says it is the grace of the people of Tamil Nādu and the love of Mother Tamizh that has brought him so much name and fame. So, anything the foundation initiates will be started from Tamil Nādu. The foundation believes in the idea of “small beginning, consistent effort and course correction and eventually leading to monumental change.”

4. Does Rajinikanth foundation run an educational institution?

The foundation doesn’t run any educational institution. Instead, the foundation only runs training programs at designated venues for preparing students for competitive exams

5. What are the courses offered by Rajinikanth foundation?

In the initial phase, we are currently planning to train 100 students from the poor and marginalised strata of society for the Tamilnadu public service commission group exams. The announcement for the same shall happen shortly.
In the forthcoming phase, we shall train poor and marginalised students for other competitive exams such as civil services exams (CSE) conducted by the UPSC, National Defence Academy (NDA) exam conducted by UPSC, Staff Selection Commission (SSC) exams, banking exams etc.
The other plans for empowering and educating poor and marginalised students shall be announced promptly.

6. Does Rajinikanth foundation accept donations?

Currently, we don’t accept donations. We run the program entirely from the fund benevolently contributed by the Superstar of Indian Cinema Padma Vibhushan Rajinikanth.
If you wish to contribute to the foundation, please provide us your time as an expert, volunteer, and corporate, which is more valuable than money

7. Who can apply for Rajinikanth Foundation?

Any student from a poor and marginalized background willing to make a difference in society through education, provided they satisfy the eligibility criterion for each program, can apply for Rajinikanth Foundation.

8. Who runs Rajinikanth foundation?

There is no particular hierarchy in Rajinikanth foundation. The program is entirely run by volunteers. However,administrative aspect of the foundation shall be taken care by,

9. Can students be volunteers?

No, we always believe studentship is when the children should be completely focused on studies. However, suppose our initiatives need interns who have knowledge in a specific field. In that case, we shall engage them and give sufficient emphasis to their learning during an internship.
